I don't put the type of variable inside my names because I do most of my work in C# .NET 2005, and it tells you the type of the control during the intellisense.

And if i'm not using C# then i'm using PHP 4, and there variable types don't matter, i can easily make a int be a string or whatever.

In PHP most of my stuff is inside classes, and there is no point going

class About {
$About_Authors;
$About_Translators;
}

You just do

class About {
$Authors;
$Translators;
}

Yer I'm really against the hungarian notation, sure it would be good back 15 years ago, where memory was such a problem and you had to make sure that you don't run out of memory when assigning to your variables.

Why use firefox... because it follows standards.

You have no idea how much pain webdevelopers go through to get advanced pages to work in IE.

IE should be illegal.

Well i would like to drag a windows title bar to the side of my desktop and say if i leave it there for 2seconds it docks, and i can drag it away again.

I have no idea how to help you, but if you do it, it would be great.

notepad is so successfull because it is so simple.

Although a notepad+ or something seperate/aswell would be cool, tabs and colors for coding, like the linux text editors.

Are you serious?  Did you read that?  That email is the internal mail announcing the re-org of the Platform & Services Division. 

Find me where Kevin says we're going to rewrite 60% of Vista, or 60% of the MCE code, or 60% of fill-in-the-blank?

Find me a name or anything close to back up to the 60% figure.

They're not developers, either.  They don't know DLL from component from line of code from their <insert offensive body part here>.

And the 60% of recode is to do with the media center functionality, they are even getting coders from the xbox team to help out....

Like manip said, they are 15, what sites shouldnt they be seeing... They've most probably done way 'worse' than what they could be seeing on the 'bad' sites anyway.

Anyway if the kids know whats good and bad (been taught their moralls) you don't have anything to worry about.

Anyway for any idea concerning copy protection it is all useless unless it is improvement of the current way they are doing it, otherwise it is just a new way or alternative way.
