Hello All,

I wanted to check if there is a way to take a VB6 ActiveX dll used in about 20 projects and update it to a .Net 2.0 dll that is COM aware and not have to recompile the 20 existing projects.

Any thoughts or insights are greatly appreciated :)

Hello All,

Can I connect a PocketPc emulator to a file system web app or should I use an IIS based app for connection in VS2005?

I also tried to get the emulator to connect via the host to the internet and it displays missing network.

serialization mechanism using BinaryReader and BinaryWriter for Compact
Framework 2.0.

We are engaged on a new project using true OO and using VS2005.

Most if not all of the demos concerning VS2005 are using the auto-magic (less code) methods.

As we see the new Team System now existing demonstrating that Microsoft is pushing to support the enterprise type development efforts, we are curious what about demos and efforts for the true OO development.

Or perhaps a balance between both methods and where the future development tools will help to support this.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,

I get a security error when trying to view the below web page:

When the installation is complete, a Web browser window opens and displays the Configure Administrative Virtual Server page. After confirming that the page appears, close the browser window without making any changes.

I was using the TFSInstall_V51020 with TFS beta 3 refresh.

Any ideas?

When I set the DestinationPageUrl on the login control and test, after logging in sucessful, I go back to the default.aspx instead of what I set the property to.

Hello All,

I am trying to get the SQL Express 2005 April CTP to load on a system that has VS2003 already loaded.

I did follow the readme file instructions for the uninstalls but I still get the error "Earlier versions detected"

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.
