I know it's a bit lame to ask but maybe after RP something changed:
• Can you host/use a PivotViewer inside your Metro App?
• Can you use JQuery inside your Metro App?

I am building an application that handles rich sets of data collections. I was thinking to check of using PivotViewer on Silverlight and JQuery before considering Semantic Zoom.
