Feb 16, 2013 at 8:52 PMHow to improve Ping? I don't know, but something involving cheevos would certainly help.
Anders Hejlsberg and Lars Bak: TypeScript, JavaScript, and Dart
Oct 12, 2012 at 11:06 AMLars' is demeanor is one of defensiveness about Dart. I get the sense that he believes TypeScript to be a threat to the success of Dart.

The 400 horsepower device
Mar 22, 2012 at 7:10 AMThat's funny. When I do a Bing Maps search on "O'Connel [sic] Street", I get taken right to Dublin. "O'Connell Street" also takes me to Dublin. I when I do a search on "O'Connell Street Nebraska", I get taken to "NE Oconnell Rd, Cameron, MO". Maybe you're on a different version of Bing Maps than everybody else because there doesn't seem to be any "O'Connel Street" or "O'Connell Street" in the state of Nebraska on the version of Bing Maps that I'm using.

Ping 126: Windows Phone Demo, Nokia Lumia launch, FPS & Kinect shoot back, NeverWet!
Dec 08, 2011 at 7:18 PMBTW, here is a story about some kids that won a scholarship for $100K (split between the two) for their project using Kinect to analyze human gait.
However, the big story is the young woman who won the individual $100K prize for her project involving nanotechnology for the cure of cancer. Big whoop, huh?

Dec 08, 2011 at 11:43 AMI used "whacked" has a double entendre. The first meaning was in the Whitney Houston-Diane Sawyer-interview sense or something being "out of whack". The second meaning, when I said "de-whacked", was a reference to "whack" as a synonym for "slash". IOW, the URL was "whacked" because it was missing a "whack".
BTW, LOL @ Bob's indignation at being nitpicked about the error.
