Here. I like the trailer too.
That movie looks OK.  Star Trek will be as good as Windows 7, in other words Star Trek will be a failure.  Another movie I am looking forward to is Transformers 2 which is scheduled for a summer release.

i paid nothing for vista (thanks jeff) but if i had bought ultimate for 300$ and then 7 came which basically is vista fixed and fast.. i would be VERY mad buying it "again"
You are the special one jamie.  Will you get Windows 7 for free or will you also have to remortgage your house and sell one of your cars to get it as well?

gNewSense and other GNU/Linux distributions dont come with a browser bundled in thats not hard to change, why should Microsoft be exempt?

gNewSense is based on Ubuntu so the bug is also present there.

    But you knew that already.
Its not present in gNewSense.  But I do find it funny you are trying to change the subject to avoid discussing the fact you are chump enough to buy Windows 7 when its released.  But thats OK, you want to pay for a substandard legacy operating system you are more than welcome to that its your money.  What else would you do with the grand you will pay for Windows 7 upon release.

Why don't you try to solve my bug?

    https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/278503

The bug is in Ubuntu, not gNewSense.  Alas, once again I have better things to do with $1,000.00 than to buy Windows 7.  I would not use a computer before I used Windows 7.

I do agree with him on one point.  I have better things to spend my $1,000.00 on than Windows 7.  Expensive, proprietary and substandard.

Whilst true about color coordination, thats hardly fair considering what most 'linux' looks like.
Every Linux distribution out there with the exception of PC/OS, ZevenOS and OpenSellout Linux look outstanding.

So, what you say on the linked post is that you like Windows 7, that it runs acceptably on your PIII 800 machine, but you won't buy it when it's released because you don't like Activation.
Basic translation for you Windoze and Vi$ta users.  PC/OS is a bright and shiny failure, I cant have success doing anything else so Im coming back to Windows.  This is the basic translation for rjs post and BTW your color coordination is not great thats the ugliest desktop I have ever seen, are you color blind?

7 Home Premium = XP Pro?  If they include remote desktop server in Home Premium, then there really is no reason to get Ultimate.  --nevermind, I just saw that it was only a pricing comparison

My predictions on price will be (full retail)

    7 Home = $129.99, $199.99 for a 3 machine home license
    7 Business = $199.99
    7 Ulimate = $249.99

Attach about $200.00 more and you probably got a ballpark figure.  If the cost of Windows is too much and gNewSense is too hard for you guys to learn you can always use rj's distro and save some money.   I mean since you guys like it so much and you think its so great.

It's not that we're afraid to ask the question, we just don't see the point -- they're not going to tell us until they're ready!

And it will still be 'too much'

    Herbie
Just be prepared to have to remortgage your home, sell your car, and sell all your family heirlooms and you will be halfway there. Microsoft always charges a premium. Heres my price list: Home Edition: $300.00 Professional: $599.00 Ultimate: $800.00 Or you can always download gNewSense for free and support free and open standards. Look at how much inroad BSD and Linux are making in the world. 99.9% of mobile devices use Linux, The most popular option on Netbooks is Linux and Mac OS X is BSD based. If a raving Microsoft fanboy like Rory Blythe can change everyone else can too.
