This is awesome! I have been waiting to be able to deploy in a much more timely manner and now I finally can! I look forward to what new features are still yet to come. Thanks.
IronRuby, IronPython and a ressurected Managed JScript (all DLR languages) would be awesome options to use for Windows Phone 7 development. Way better than VB, although both VB and C# are also required choices. It does seem the DLR is being neglected a little bit these days.
Having a panel of judges is so old school. You guys should have let the community vote for the winners, then you would actually know who created the coolest and most useful entry.
Another great installment of The Visual Studio Documentary!! I hope you guys just keep these coming! Also, as stated previously by someone else, it would be awesome for you guys to do a series like this on Windows.
This is pretty much a "marketing only" video, and doesn't meet my expectations that have been built up over the years of what I expect to see from C9. Sorry guys, but you may be stepping over the line with this one.
It was said that the JavaScript Engine generates "native code". Is this something that utilizes the DLR, or did you guys write a completely new JavaScript compiler?
Also, what is the possibility that this new JavaScript Engine could be exposed as an API to be consumed by other applications? Yeah, you could always embed the Web Browser control, but what about accessing just the JavaScript Engine?

Nick Baker: Xbox Architecture
Dec 04, 2009 at 6:41 AMThe 3DO system was awesome. It was actually better than the Playstation, but some how Playstation won the war.
Also, talking about flaws, let us not forget that the first editions of the Playstation 2 had terrible overheating issues too.
