@ManipUni: How about the wireless version, the Ergonomic 7000. I have considered it but a lot of the reviewers have issues with the space bar. I have the Laser Keyboard 6000 now. I like it fine but it is too wide.

@Dr Herbie: I noticed you are using a Microsoft Ergo keyboard. If it died would you get the same thing again?

I really like my HTC Trophy. But that being said usually when people ask me about a phone they have requirements that prevent me from suggesting wp7.
Even though many people don't really get why they need 4G, Verizon's advertising is making a non 4g phone a hard sell.
If they have used and liked an iphone or andriod phone before the change is too much for many people, especially if a favorite app is not available for wp7 yet.
Bottom line is if they want an Accura and you talk them into an Audi they probably will be annoyed by the differences.

There have been 5 different motherboard designs on the XBox 360 so if you just count that I guess the current XBox 360 Slim is version 6 so the next is Xbox 7.

I like that article. Very funny. What he doesn't mention is internally Windows 95 was 4.0

Yeah, you need a satellite phone though. GPS is a one way signal. From what I understand the repeating message being broadcast from the GPS satellites is basically just a timestamp and a satellite location. The gps processor in your device uses all of the responses to triangulate a position.

@cbae: Check out the Xbox chatpad. I prefer this to a stand alone keyboard. I just leave it on all the time.

...Plus, you can always take your games you bought with you to a new iPhone, but not to a new WP7 or Android phone...
You seem to be indicating on WP7 the app is tied to the device. Its tied to your Xbox live account. If you get a new phone you still have rights to your purchased games. The same way if you got a new Xbox. However game save data is lost when switching to a new WP7 device.

@jamie: I know it is too late now but the Microsoft store online had the Xbox with kinect for 199 on Black Friday.
