Gee, I found that rather annoying. Why? Because every MS mouse I've had failed in rather a short time frame. Especially the wheel mouses. The wheels become loose and don't turn in an even manner.

I'm currently using a retail one I couldn't sell, and soon after a few uses, it became a very poor performer. Some times the left click becomes a double click, and the side buttons become stuck.

I could return it under warrantee because I'd had it for over a year. Even though it was sealed in the retail box, there is no proof that I had just opened it. So, I'm lumped with a bad mouse that I paid a premium for because it was a Microsoft mouse. So, the last four mouses I've had were all MS ones, and all failed after a short life. None had coke spilt on them nor coffee either.

I've also used many other brands, and to date, none of them have ever failed.

PS: I'm not a gamer either, so there was no compulsive mouse clicking going on.

If I double click the small window, I have audio, but when I click the link that makes it play in a separate WMP instance, there is no audio.

Whoaa there wilba. I was only asking a question, not launching an inquisition.

Compared to time. Those two you saw weren't the only two in the past. There used be be many that were over 260days from being notified of the problem. Wouldn't a malious hacker find out how to exploit a system in 260+ days? I think so.

I don't know how long it would take EEYE to remove the advisory to fixed status, once the patch came out, so maybe they're a little slow.

Other software vendors have pulled it off in time. Of course we don't know if they were the same complexity. When you release an OS, when do you stop testing it for bugs? Some exploits effect all versions of MS OS's and MS has had plenty of time to look for bugs in the older OS's.

Don't get lazy because one OS might not be supported anymore. If Win2K was builtt/based on the NT kernal and that kernal has a fault, should we look into that, even though that original kernal is not supported anymore?

You can think what you like, All I'm saying is don't fob of the important issues that someone raises here. Microsoft/Channel nine has come to ask US, what we think, and that exactly what I'm doing!

PS: If software was perfect, I wouldn't have a job.

Wow! He really explained things really well. I'm not a developer and I got the gist of what was going on. That was great that you got him to talk about web services.

Video was blury, but that was about it. The message got across.

Scoble, the lighting is a little low on some of the vids. I know that video lights are too bright to stick in someones face, but what about some soft diffuse light from about waist height to fill in some missing light? Doesn't need to light up a football stadium, just something to give a small boost.

I know your aiming for the minimalist video experience, but sometimes you need to compensate for light and sometimes sound too.
