Nice. C++ may get bashed a lot, but its creator can certainly deliver a coherent presentation.

This kind of thing turns me off as a consumer. A big litter of similar phones with no clear winner = I won't buy any of them.

I completely disagree with reddit that the contents of these early lectures are too high falootin'

I too am a beginner with functional programming, but I recognise that this is the basics, the easy stuff. I'm sure that watching a competent functional programmer write something 'concrete' would knock us beginners on our * and have us longing for content like this.
