IE9 Site-centric Frame - details
Sep 18, 2010 at 8:32 AMAll well and good but what database will IE 9 support. All other (major) browsers now have working web sql or indexed db implementations. IE was rumored to support indexed db approach but this is strangely missing from any IE 9 marketing material. Hardware acceleration and pretty flashing things are all well and good but there is a hell of a lot of business centric features that are required in the next version of web (db, web workers, sockets, etc). Please update us on these. Tnx
Guido
Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview 3: A Look at Canvas and Amazon.com
Jun 23, 2010 at 4:26 PMIt is such a huge relief to see IE 9 supporting canvas. Why did MS keep this quiet??? I feel happy now. Thanks MS (I take back everything I've ever thought of the IE team)
TechDays 2010 : HTML 5 and Internet Explorer 9
Apr 27, 2010 at 3:07 PMShame, that without canvas, IE 9 will still be wayyyy behind the competition.
Big 'E' stamp for effort tho.
