I am looking for free software (preferably open source) that I can use to output full screen video on my second monitor but still have the control interface on the first one. I want to hook the computer up to a video mixer and use it as a playout system
for a live event, but I don't want to be able to move the mouse onto the second screen. I had posted a similar topic earlier about this (when I was trying to write it myself) but am now looking for a pre-made solution.

I'm talking about while the USB cable is still plugged in. Is there a way to use the laptop as the preview after you take the picture via USB or something?

Is there such an application (preferably open source or free) where you can hook up your dslr (possibly Olympus E-500) to a laptop and run software that right after you take a picture, you can view the photo on the laptop screen for previewing?
Or, is there a way to make this in .NET?

I have seen video editing software that allows you to preview the output of the timeline right on an external monitor hooked thorugh S-video. My concern is that the mouse will move onto the form that is rendering the title, and it would display on the big screen.
Is GDI something that I should use to render, or is there something else?

I am writing an application that does live titling and video-playout to be used for a live production. I am using Visual Basic 2005.
I have my main admin screen on one form, and I want to have the actual results (the video output and the titles and everything) to be sent from my S-Video out port.
Is there a way to do this, without using the S-Video out port as another monitor, and setting the bounds of the player window to the bounds of the second monitor? Is there a "real" way?

I have a php app that I want to "compile"... so users can deploy the website on their own servers, without being able to view the source or modify the app. Is there a way to do this?

I am just wondering how people here do AJAX. Do you use a library, such as prototype.js? If so, do you write the javascript code to access the .js page right in the <head> tag? Finally, do you use real XML or is it more of a "AJAH" solution with raw HTML returned?

I went there. In fact, I probably made 45,000 out of the 69,457 "junks".
Not by hand. With a junk[.]bot, running on all of my computers
Even though it's not the reason "the" internet will die, it might be why "your" internet might die due to the constant page requests from the junk[.]bots.
