DIY Media Centers with Ceton Tuners
Apr 01, 2010 at 4:02 PMGreat video overview. Lets hope it gets people interested in WMC and CableCARD options.
Now, if CableLabs would only let the Ceton card stream to other WMC PCs then we would have an even better set up. We will keep CCI and SDV away from the general population for now. They would never go for it.

Build a CableCard MCE PC with Ceton TV Tuner
Jan 27, 2010 at 2:24 PMAll controls are through WMC. If it is the same version that they had at CES 2010 then it will work great. You can watch one channel and record three others, or stream out to your Extenders, or record and distribute to your Windows Home Server and even downsample to your Zune. AC3 codec needed of course.
Oh, and Microsoft modified the CES 2010 rig to have 8 tuners just for the show. We asked. All regular users will have the four tuner limit.
