"How to hate Microsoft?"
You evil, evil people. How could you ever come up with such a topic?
Just kidding. ![]()
Anyways, I was once a mac user. I felt that I was limited to what I could do. Then I was introduced to Windows 95 and I immediately fell in love with it. From then on, I learned all kind of stuff like html, asp, all of the visual programming languages, asp,
etc.
Microsoft's strengths would definitely be it tailor towards developers, and although the whole IE <> W3 specs argument came up, I fully understand the complexity involving MS's side in that debate.
Also, another strength would be in customer feedback. This forum is an excellent example. Most of what has been suggested here has been well incorporated in product/update releases.
I honestly feel the WMP ruling is so daft. If competitors are feeling that their products are being unfairly disadvantaged, perhaps they should try making something original and new rather than staying with the same design concepts. Honestly, why do you suppose
Quicktime is installed on many Windows PCs?
Anyways, if my post seems a bit on the childish-side, I am happy (well, sort of) to report that I am indeed a kid (15yr.) and I did start diving into this field at an early age. ![]()
