After DELL refunded me the cost of the M1530 i got last september i decided to get a Studio XPS 16 still not sure about the 16" 16:9 screen

UPDATE: The fix for this problem is to the cookies in firefox

The site only show

Bad Request - Request Too Long

HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long.

Nevermind Fixed it now

So i just got my new laptop with a 15.4" 1920x1200 screen so u upped the DPI to 120 and now the icon sizes keep changing size and i have to F5 the desktop to restore them to there size. Any Ideas

Hi, I have been designing a website form a school that i work for and i have designed it to XHTML and CSS standards and it is working in FF,Oprea, Safari and IE7 all of the standards compliant browsers excerpt IE6 based browsers.

Here is what it looks like in FF:

this is how it is supposed to look

And here is what it looks like in IE6:

as you can see the text is the wrong size which only happens on the home page in IE6 and also the side of the site is broken which is on every page i have managed to work out the this is because of the flash logo. but i have not been able to find a way to fix these.

OpenSearch for Channel9 will allow you to search channel9 from the FireFox 2 or Internet Explorer 7 search box.

To add to firefox click glowing blue button and select "Add Channel9" or click link on above page

To add to IE7 click Orange tab then "Add search providers" and Select "Channel9" or click link on above page (If you just select "Channel9" from the drop down menu and dont use "Add Search Providers" it will be reset on the restart of IE7)

Any one know why Vista1 to Vista2 will not work i only at authentication failed and it asking me to renter the password

Hey,

Do any of you know of a way to disable audio in vb.net on windows xp

this is how i am doing it at the moment

Dim controller As New ServiceController("Audiosrv")
controller.Stop()

and it work perfectly but if say windows media player is open playing a song then wmp audio it will not get disabled until it is closed

I am using the WebBrowser Control in VB.net 2005 and trying to get the buttons in edit (Cut, Copy, Paste, Select All and Find) to work. if the user presses CTRL-F the find dialog will open is there and way to get a button to do that same thing

After i upgraded to windows xp pro the hibernate option from the shutdown menu has vanished. i use the regisry hack on ms support but it aint made any differance. Any idears.

hi i install vista rc1 and every time i startup about a 1min after login rc1 stops responding. so i restart it and it happens agin this is my 2nd downloaded iso and the 2nd DVD setup disk and my 3rd install of rc1. any one got any ideas of whats going on.

Hi I am looking for a good ISP in the UK that offers an 8mb connection downstream, ADSL, Not Usage Cap.

I currently use BT Total Broadband 4 (50gb limit) and I currently use about 90gb to 100gb a month.

P.S . A Static IP address would be good.

Hi i have a problem my school are claming that a logged in to the server useing my account and they have now banded me of the network and saying that i have droke the computer missuse act

now is it possibule if i loggin to a workstation on the domain useing my username and password and my username appear in the server Documents and Settings

if i plug a USB storage device into my pc like a pen drive or my iPod the computer make that noise saying that it is connected and it shows up in device manager

and also in Disk Management

but not in My Computer

How can i fix this i dont want to reformat my computer
