It’s come to my attention once more as I log into Live Messenger, browse my emails in the 'Windows Live Today' window. There is a Volkswagen advert at full pelt covering the screen by default then minimizing to its designated spot.

Surely this kind of advertising could be deemed intrusive and of bad taste. Could we see legislation catch up with modern day advertising standards and ban these methods?

Thanks

in reply to Intrusive Roll-over Flash Ads

<evnet:views>1289</evnet:views><evnet:viewtrackingurl>http://channel9.msdn.com/260703/WebViewBug.aspx?EVT=0</evnet:viewtrackingurl><evnet:previewtext>
I notice this a lot with my hotmail account where at the top is Flash advert that I accidentally roll-over and maximize to full screen, thus getting in the way of what im doing.
