...what happens behind the scenes when using your average Windows OS. A piece of software crashes/sticks/pauses. You opt for the Task Manager to 'End Task', then said software remerges from hibernation?

Seems to only work when im browsing C9 so far. I check out the Dev Tool go back to the site and notice multiple lines running across the sceen.

I notice this a lot with my hotmail account where at the top is Flash advert that I accidentally roll-over and maximize to full screen, thus getting in the way of what im doing.

It’s come to my attention once more as I log into Live Messenger, browse my emails in the 'Windows Live Today' window. There is a Volkswagen advert at full pelt covering the screen by default then minimizing to its designated spot.

Surely this kind of advertising could be deemed intrusive and of bad taste. Could we see legislation catch up with modern day advertising standards and ban these methods?

Windows Sidebar query [Windows Sidebar query]

I wanted to position my gadets anywhere on my desktop so I got rid of the dock itself. Now on every reboot my 'free' gadgets seem to straft left (a little)...annoying.

Anybody else experiencing this slight problem?

Whats the use in IE7 crashing with all my tabs open (usually due to Flash Player error), closing. Then reopening for my convenience; a blank browser with zero saved tabs.

Have I missed something, is there a setting for some kind of auto-recovery?
