CKurt...I've already had a couple of people ask me about the Hardhat Challenges. I'm actually surprised that folks remember them! I'd love to hear comments from anyone who'd like the challenges to return. If there's enough interest, I'll see what I can do.

 

ZippyV...sorry, but we don't share exact numbers. I can tell you that the number is > 1 and < 15,000 though. You can kick me at PDC09.

Yes, Ritzy and I both tweet. But realize that we also talk about a lot of non-Microsoft stuff. So you might have to endure.

As a member of the team that produces our MIX and PDC events (and someone who participates on our Tier 1 events council at Microsoft), I'd love to hear feedback on this topic. We're listening!

Not in the current version of the plug-in, ZippyV. Some of these features are more difficult than others to access in the object model, and this is one of them. I've added it to my "requested features" list.

Thanks for the interview, Robert! Here's another post that points to an Illustrator tool on CodePlex and a couple of Flash to XAML conversion tools. Since that post, I've also become aware of a new tool called SilverFlash, though I haven't been able to try it yet.

• I said that Captain JiNX seemed to know what he's doing. But, you can easily solve this challenge without knowing anything mentioned in the article he linked to.
• My wife Elizabeth, who is a computer user, but certainly not a developer, could probably solve this on paper, if she only looked up a single item.

The other tip I'll give is that you don't have to be very good at math (at all) to figure this one out. You don't even need to own a computer. I'll be quiet now and let the brains work on it.
