Ping 176: Windows Phone goes mainstream, Best ad ever, Facebook Beta app, MS exec makes a difference
May 13, 2013 at 11:34 AMDrop the contracts and go with T-Mobile you can get the Nokia 521 for 149.00 and $50 a month no contract service for Unlimited Text, Talk and 500 MB of 4g speed of unlimited data. For an additional $10 you can get 2 gig of 4g speed of unlimited data.
I just share my knowledge of the product and let the individual make their own assessment. One thing I've recalled from college and other communication classes you can have a good discussion until someone says "I feel ....." that's when you call it quits.
TWC9: Microsoft Surface, Windows Phone 8, Azure, Imagine Cup and Pi!
Jun 25, 2012 at 1:00 PMCurrent Windows Phones will get a 7.8 update. It's something but one can't expect to get updates on a device that does not have the hardware to allow the features. (ie. NFC, Removable Storage, etc...) If you watch the Windows Phone Summit they talk through this. http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Windows-Phone/Summit
Ping 126: Windows Phone Demo, Nokia Lumia launch, FPS & Kinect shoot back, NeverWet!
Dec 12, 2011 at 2:11 PMIn Science the 4th dimension might be time; however, Hollywood makes up their own rules to entice us to fork over our money. In movies, the 4th Dimension is a 3D film with audience interaction or physical effects. This can be in the form of laserlights, strobes, water, wind, seat movement, etc...
One excample of 4D would be. Someone sneezes in the film and from the chair a little spritz of water hits your face. You've entered the fourth dimension. Or the seats move during an action sequence again 4D.
I believe the closest place for someone living in the Pacific Northwest to experience 4D is Disneyland or more specifically California Adventures.

Use a Nerf Gun, Kinect Skeletal Tracking, and a Turret to protect your office!
Aug 08, 2011 at 1:26 PMTaking the idea of a vibrating controller to an entirely new level. Incorporate this as part of a FPS maybe with an airsoft gun more pellets. Then when you get shot at in game you really get shot at...

Not with voice control. yes, Kinect / Xbox still leading the charge there. With Xfinity a pop up shows up and you click your remote to get more content etc... but you're still interacting with the ad.
Ping 106: Nuads on Kinect, Mozaic, Mozilla, Facebook
