If I reply to these messages, my reply goes as a blank message and is saved in the Sent folder blank. The funny part is that when I click on Report Rendering Problem and try sending the email as an attachment, the message goes as a blank message as well.

Even assuming what you say about MySql is true, you can always run it (Mysql or even PostGreSql) on Windows. Both these database servers even have managed providers.
