@dentaku I have not heard of any problems with my ShellExtension yet. Just give SkyDrive another shot. It's 25GB free cloud spcaes Nobody else has this and Dropbox/GDrive has the same limmitation as far as I know.

The fact that SkyDrive doesn't allow syncing of arbitrary folders is super annoying. So I wrote a small ShellExtension that is doing the job. http://janhannemann.wordpress.com/2012/04/26/sync-any-folder-to-skydrive/

Nope, the Apps store is Metro only. However, they going to list Desktop apps as well but they just link out to for download and install like it is today. The apps will be not maintained by the App store. Not even Microsoft software like Office will be delivered via the App store.

I also have a weird issue where the tablet gets constant input from somewhere. It's like a stuck key on a keyboard. Any input control received endless 2's. But I don't have any keyboard connected to the tablet. Also the touch keyboard keeps disappearing.

We using the CL900 right now. The atom processor isn't very fast but battery life is good. I tried the Win8 developer preview on it but it wasn't usable at all. I don't know how much the performance is improved in the CP but I will try soon. Currently we run a SL app on tis device and I woul like to migrate to WinRT.

I got the Slate7. First, there is no working driver for the accelerometer. If someon could dig out a W8 driver from the /BULD tablet it would be great. Second, tap and hold for context menu is very unreliable with finger. Works fine with pen.
