Sorry, using crap tools is no excuse for... well, anything.
Blend >>>> Flash/FLEX.
Agreed, as someone who has done and still does a lot of adobe dev, flash/flex/air/whatever the fk next is really bad in comparison to silverlight.

Touch button is my favourite part of my classic ps3 personally, the power button is awesome, you barely need to touch it and it beeps to let you know it turned on, the beep pitch is perfect.
In terms of glossy, I don't see the issue, my 360 is only ever touched to eject the tray...

In other words you just made that up.
Play.com is saying July 16th for pre-orders, so there's some potential truth..

New Slim Xbox 360 console will be available in Europe on July 16th
Yea source please, fantastic they are ready so soon, they did an amazing job keeping it secret, I think the only leak of it I saw was hours before e3.
However, if it then takes weeks/months to hit the UK I'll be annoyed.

Other things you didn't know about similar in 'crapness' to this:
- Mail order cancer
- Trade your lcd for a 90's CRT (now for only £13.99)

Coooooooooool!
One issue though, in that video... they use 3rd party libraries / DLLs ... which is not too good for me imho. I usually never use 3rd party stuff in order to not be dependant on others.
Well, any dependency you have such as .NET framework DLL's are still a dependency.. you should get over this, I don't think there's a single project I work on that doesn't use 3rd party libs of some sort.
If you try and recreate everything, you'll create unfortunately inferior results (not specifically through lack of ability), that took longer to make.
Like anything, the lesson is 'balance'..

Like Google's idea of rebuilding an OS inside a browser, almost as ridiculous a concept as building an entire application inside a button..
