I even commented about it a year or two ago of how I wanted to be able to create an anonymous object of an Interface. I want it implemented for C# also!  Maybe we can hope for it for C# 6.0.

3. Service classes

Cuts down a lot of tedious code for me and lets me focus on writing the important business logic code.

Microsoft MVP Dane Morgridge open sourced his T4 templates for generating Repository classes also.

Even that *most basic* functionality isn't smooth.
Sometimes, it doesn't even 'register' the touch motion, which is very disappointing.

If companies are trying to compete with the iPad/iPhone, they need to pay attention to detail as much as Apple does.
Currently, I feel like everybody is trying to catch up by just putting out new devices.

The touchscreen is not 'responsive' like the iPad/iPhone's touchscreen.
It feels laggy and sometimes doesn't detect my touch at all.

#2 reason = Bad User Experience with the UI (yes this is subjective).
With those two alone, I can't stand the Android tablet at all.

In short....Microsoft needs to learn to go the minimalist approach like Apple.

Otherwise, I feel like Microsoft brand is becoming too rigid (same old same thing) with today's younger generation of people.

Windows' full-OS UI is not suitable for a touch screen device like an iPad. It is clunky.
Microsoft needs Surface or Courier like UI to compete with the iOS.

Here is what I'm afraid of i.e., the route which Microsoft will take that will spell failure (or) half-* attempt.

Devices like HP Slate are crap.
They are just another one of those iPad wanna-bes and fail miserably.

I just hope that Microsoft doesn't go the Microsoft Kin route with this touch screen tablet market.
That would spell a half * lame attempt and will fail and ruin its chance to get into the market.

People expect a lot better quality and polished product since Apple has raised the bar for tablet devices.

I only have an iPhone, but I don't plan to buy an iPad.

If iPad 2.0 is any better and can be used almost as a laptop-PC replacement, I'd consider buying an iPad.

Question 1

Why did IE team not  just copy Google Chrome's style Tabs? Currently, the IE9 design feels really cluttered and can't read my [Tab] titles.

I love Google Chrome style tabs because I can just move my mouse pointer to the *very* top of the screen without having to aim my pointer.

Question 2

Why is IE9 still NOT supporting [Ctrl] + [PgUp] and [Ctrl] + [PgDown] to switch between tabs?
I really hate that I can't use the *basic* simple keyboard shortcuts that all other Browsers seem to have.

Question 3

When IE9 is being worked on, did the IE team think about adding in AddOn support like FireFox?
No matter what, FireBug still is the #1 must-have web-developer AddOn.

Is HTML5 the only thing being focused on in IE9?

No need to reinvent the less functional wheel while there already is a better solution.

I love that the "New Tab" speed is fast <== something I have been complaining for the longest time.

However, Google Chrome's [Tab Bar] and [Address Bar] placement is still better in my opinion.

IE9's style makes the Address Bar shrink so much that you can't read the whole URL, which I hate.

Plus, it is easier to click on a tab in Google Chrome (simply just move to the top of the screen. No need to aim.)

Probably the most important thing you can do is to go out and get some real world experience at this stage, before you get to a PhD. I am working with a number of PhD's and the lack of real world exposure sometimes completely negates their academic distinction. If you are going to research real world problems, and fix them, then you must live in the real world, which you clearly are not at the moment, and like some smarter than I, I lack the time or patience to educate you on the error of your ways.
