Hello everybody!
We were planning to install Sharepoint 2007 on our webserver, but the machine was not strong enough. Therefore we asked our hoster for two alternatives:

Alt. 1:

Unfortunately, the route is via the remote network. Any ideas?

Vista is running fine on my test computer but I have a slight problem with VPN. As it is always the case, as soon as you setup a VPN you will end up tunneling your complete internet traffic through the remote network. In Windows XP you could change that by deselecting the "use default gateway on remote network".

Unfortunately, I cannot click on the advanced tab in Vista where I assume this function to be hidden. I always get the error that I don't have sufficient privileges to change this.
Any ideas?

Well, as of now, Vista is not booting any more... I am pretty sure it has something to do with the Audigy drivers... This sucks! For now, I will enable my onboard soundcard and wait for an updated version by Creative. Grrrrrrrr...

Thats how I did it:
1. Download Vista Beta driver from Soundblaster.com
2. Start the installer
3. Keep the installer open and browse to the Temp directory where everything was unzipped to
4. Copy the drivers out of there
5. Open device manager and click on "update driver"
6. Point to the copied drivers and install
7. Worked for me without a problem!
8. Enjoy!
