He has moved to Server & Tools to work on the Azure Kernel (or App Fabric controller) and has been there for a couple of years. He is still performing updates to Sysinternals and releasing books, so he is still there.

Arun is an Architect on the Kernel team and a Technical Fellow in waiting.

It really does work the way they describe it, extraordinary!

@felix9: I thought this a great interview, and fabulous that Google & Microsoft can come together to discuss issues affecting web development.

I think Lars very very smart, impatient and competitive research wise, but a little bit more respect for Anders would have resulted in a perfect interview. It could be that they are both Danish, and something was lost in translation.

Fascinating discussion

I was an early adopter and soon because averse to this ORM. I will have a look at it again, but hope you maintain the mantra of keeping it as easy to use and as logical as possible.

Doing the same thing with the Linq to SQL ORM was much easier than EF, so I hope things have changed for the better.

@Charles: We will have to start calling you Santa Charles soon, with all these gifts. I thought that was it from Simon for a year or so after the YOW interview

.NET has some pretty amazing projects, with LINQPad being a project  "that goes to eleven"

I had downloaded the .NET 4 BCL video at lunch, but that that will have to wait now.
