"Windows 8 and Windows are not the same platform"...? Windows Phone 8?
Why, as you said, did Microsoft dump .NET? I am told that if the apps don't get smoking and appearing, Windows 8 Phone is a bigger failure than any of the super-failures Microsoft has had in other phones?
Why go to new APIs and us to lose synergy of the primitives these developers have and make sure they do not keep the one conceptual synergy that justified me buying a Windows Phone 8 so I could develop for it. Why do you get so excited to say that Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 are NOT AT ALL the same things?????
Gee whiz it is hard to stay pro-Microsoft. What in the world you guys thinking? I don't get it?
