This video discusses how you can make the most amount of money with your Windows Store apps. Windows 8 provides the greatest developer opportunity ever! If you take a look at the Windows EcoSystem, Windows has sold over 650 million copies of Windows 7 in 200 plus countries, and in over 100 different languages. This is the potential starting point for your audience for people to purchase your app from the Windows Store. And that's a pretty great starting point. Really not convincing, especially for Indie Developers, trying to make a few bucks. Expericne from WP7 shows that Users rarely prepared to pay for Apps these days.

And the Microsoft ADcentre eCPMs rates have collapsed to less than $0.15 in the last couple of months. Microsoft Ads are very weak at localising their Ads, so no wonder the eCPMS are so low.

Our weak revenue from WP7 would suggest that Microsoft is only interested in Indie Apps to raise their Apps count, and really not helping us in any significant revenue.
posted by Jules
