How do I download the videos?
- To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”
Why should I download videos from Channel9?
- It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
- You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
- If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!
Which version should I choose?
- If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
- If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
- If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
- If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.
Right click “Save as…”
- High Quality WMV (PC, Xbox, MCE)
- MP3 (Audio only)
- MP4 (iPod, Zune HD)
- Mid Quality WMV (Lo-band, Mobile)
In this edition of Show Us Your Tech, Scott Hanselman - a guy who works out of his home office - shows us his Geek Developer Crib with Rory Blyth on the glass and Chris Sells on the open mic.
Scott takes us on a tour of his OCD wiring, Windows Home Server, Xboxen, and personal effects. Special thanks to Rory for producing.

That was a great video. It would be fun to see more of the geek's lairs. Probably should avoid showing off too much of the security system though... What is your address?

GEEK FIGHT!!!!!!! hehehe.... great video. I always love seeing what other peoples setups are like. But was kind of sad not to see a Media Center PC running, but oh well still great setup, also another harmony user here.

Awesome video!!
I'm with Chris... 5.1 isn't adding much to the sound experience.

Scott, that was inspirational, "Paranoid" I disagree. To make security entertaining. I found it impacting, moving if anything. That house is beauty and I am in awe of your talents. That video was super stuff.
Rory and Chris, Your comments were freaking, hillarious, life is too short not to have made this. Thoroughly enjoyed thanks guys.
MORE GEEK CRIBS!!!

5.1 and a TV is enough? Come on Scott, you don't know what you're missing until you have 7.1 and a high-def projector throwing 180" on the wall.

Great show! I would also like to see Chris do a show where we can see how a media center PC integrates into the home. I have been thinking about building a Media Center PC so that I can record my shows (think dvr) in one place and then share those shows on any TV in the house with Media center extenders. I am so sick of Comcast/Verizon charging $15 bucks per cable box/room, ugg!

The book "Klog på mange måder" is danish and is directly translated to "Smart in many ways" but i guess the correct way to translate it is "many ways to be smart".

The Logitech Harmony is the best remote I've ever had. It's so easy to add devices to and use. My mother-in-law never has to ask for help.
