Dabei verkennt man schnell, dass Visio eigentlich auch eine sehr mächtige Grafikengine ist, die für viele Visualisierungsaufgaben anprogrammiert werden kann. Diese Session zeigt die Grundlagen der Visio Engine und führt in die zwei Programmierumgebungen innerhalb von Visio ein. Damit erstellte Diagramme können dann mit SharePoint 2010 und den Visio Services publiziert werden. Der Publikationsmechanismus der Visio Services hat ebenso ein API welches für die programmatische Steuerung und Navigation verwendet werden kann und so die reine Publikation mit Funktionen erweitert.

Entity Framework est le mappeur Objet Relationnel du framework .NET depuis sa version 3.5 SP1, il permet aux développeurs de se concentrer sur les tâches de développement tout en générant le code SQL nécessaire à l'accès aux données. Utiliser Entity Framework permet de gagner en productivité et en maintenabilité. Cependant, l’interaction avec les DBA n’est pas toujours très claire et les craintes de ces derniers sont légitimes. Dans cette session, nous verrons qu’est-ce que vous apporte Entity Framework dans le requêtage des données. De plus, nous verrons comment DBA et développeurs peuvent travailler ensemble de manière simplifiée et optimale en utilisant Entity Framework. Nous verrons les outils qui permettent aux DBA de suivre et gérer les plans d'exécution des requêtes et les aspects d'optimisation de performance.

Cette session vous permettra de découvrir ce nouvel outil annoncé par Microsoft l'été dernier. LightSwitch vous permet la création rapide d’applications Silverlight pour le desktop, le web et le Cloud. Une bibliothèque de modèles préconfigurées vous libère de l’écriture du code nécessaire pour effectuer des opérations classiques. Avec Visual Studio LightSwitch vous pouvez exploiter des bases de données de type SQL Server, SharePoint ou SQL Azure. La version finale de ce nouveau produit va arriver sur le marché encore cette année.
