ARCast.TV - App Of The Future: The Internet Service Bus (Part 1 of 2) | ARCast.TV

Ever wonder what apps will be like in 2010? Its not that far off really. I was thinking about this when I heard what the BizTalk Services team did and saw their previous C9 video.

So I pinged John Shewchuk and David Wortendyke to ask them if they would think about the app of the future with me and how it relates to the ISB.

Cool, this came up in the context of the OSLO announcement yesterday. Looking forward to hearing what these guys have to say in these two vids.

Someone has to comment on these silverlight players because this waiting for them to download when you hit the page sux.

I have t0 wait at least 45 seconds and freezes the browser whilst this is happening.

I cannot believe that it works this way in this day an age of the web.

Got to find another way guys, why can't it download asynchronously.

Even conventional media are broken. I'm using WMP 11 on XP - I prefer "Full Screen" because it's bandwidth friendly and begins playing immediately. That link often doesn't work lately.

Clicking on the "Download " link requires 20 minutes of buffering before it even begins playing.

I'm using Vista and the Silverlight player streams immediately...

I agree with that, Silverlight is awesome!
