UPDATE: there's
a new WPF Designer video showing the features added to Beta 2 now available. Check it out and let us know what you think!

Mark Wilson-Thomas demonstrates how the new WPF and Silverlight Designer in Visual Studio 2010 enables rapid application development for business applications.

The WPF and Silverlight Designer in .NET Framework 4 Beta 1 has been through some major reconstruction. This is part 1 of a three part series. Check out part
2 covering Styling Improvements and
part 3 discussing the future of the Designer.

And Mark would like you to know he is not a WPF Program Manager as the title video implies, rather he is a PM on the WPF and Silverlight Designer team in Visual Studio.

That was an excellent video. I'm absolutely in love with the databinding tool. That was one of the biggest issues I had coming in to using WPF.

Hi Jeni

The same Microsoft DataGrid control which you can find in the
WPF Toolkit for use on .NET 3.5 SP1 projects, is being incorporated into .NET 4.0.

There has been a Microsoft-built DataGrid control in Silverlight since Silverlight 2.0

Both will be on the default Toolbox for their respective project types in Visual Studio 2010.
