SCCM by itself can only do basic EAS-capable functions whereas when you add Windows &nbsp;Intune you get primarily the direct (mobile) device management capabilities. &nbsp;<br><br>SCCM vs Windows Intune - They definitely have overlap in their capabilities and to a certain extent you can think of Windows Intune as cloud-based extension of SCCM. &nbsp;For the differences and details, I'd recommend attending the free Windows Intune Jumpstart course I'm teaching: <a href="http://aka.ms/InTuneJS">http://aka.ms/InTuneJS</a></p><p>posted by dtzar</p>]]>

			<![CDATA[<p>@<a href="/Shows/Edge/EdgeShow47#c634933178585226184">rajmak67</a>: &nbsp;The Company Portal App is provided by Windows Intune. &nbsp;SCCM also has a company application portal, but this portal currently isn't designed for mobile devices.</p><p>The end-goal for the Company Portal App is certainly to work on all platforms, but we naturally focused on our own platforms first. &nbsp;Windows Intune still allows you to go to the company portal website on MSFT &#43; iPhone and Android to sideload applications.</p><p>posted by dtzar</p>]]>
