My last job (Australia Post) has a person in the same position as Care2 is offering. You can ask questions about their services, file complaints, and organise for mail to track your lost mail...  Looks like there is becoming alternative to call centres!

Laura, thank you so much for changing Paul's wallpaper!!! He needed it.

I still own a PS# but, I'm looking forward to getting my Kinect rig pretty soon!!! woot woot!

  • It's good to see that the Silverlight stream works now that Duncan has figured out what the problem was.

  • Duncan has all the answers. He is our very own Yoda Smiley

  • Uh, Paul, Redwood City is about 30 minutes south of San Francisco. It's home to a couple of companies you might be familiar with (given your knowledge about SQL and gaming): Oracle and Electronic Arts. Smiley

BTW, that 30 minutes is with no traffic. In reality, it may actually seem like 6 hours like you mentioned, but you got the direction incorrect. Wink

  • Nuads, nice concept. I think public acceptance depends on how much intrusive it gets. I won't like it if it stops for my response.

Oh, I guess I was in Redwood National Park in Klamath, CA.  Here is a picture:

Hey HEY! You gave me a shout out on the show. Thank you!

I have to admit, I'm a Microsoft fanboy: Zune HD, got it! Windows Phone 7 (on Dell Venue Pro), got it! Xbox 360 Slim with Kinect, got it! Windows 7, got it!

And you guys are good together: Laura is the Yin to Paul's Yang. Hmm, doesn't sound right when I say that out loud. Anyway...

    Love the show.

I figured somewhere in the upper reaches of California is where you had gone. Heck, you would have had a much shorter drive by flying into Eugene, OR and driving south than by flying into San Francisco and driving north.

BTW, that statue of Babe is more anatomically correct than it needs to be.

    Great show!

I seem to have missed last weeks show. It must not have been features on the C9 homepage or something.

  • IRBIRB

Good show, and yeah I think you should get the Kinect Light Guy on to demo his tech and talk about it. It is always nice to have guests on the show.

Paul certainly has shown you how to use twitter these days Laura, he was putting you to shame before.

I just finished watching this episode at 125% speed without "Time Stretching" (i.e. in "Chipmunks mode"), and that makes it waaaaay too fun Big Smile

Hey Paul, you should teach Lora to throw the little nines. I LOLed when she tried a lot of shots and you got it from the first time Tongue Out

I think she has only hit the camera once on the 100th episode (though I think that was cgi). It is now her trademark Smiley

Thanks for the mozaic info. Sounds similar to Microsoft's Project Emporia. Have you guys ever talked about project emporia on the show? You should... if nothing else the WP7 app should be a "Hot App."

  • I'm sort of on Facebook most of the day.  I have it tied into my Live account, so it shows up in my Messenger Social section.

Don't think I could look at Facebook all day though.

  • AtulioAtulio

When are we getting the stuff for being the first 100 commenters? :)

  • Wow, I had missed the 105 show somehow and then found I had two to watch, a double dose of Laura and Paul this week!!!

Facebook all day, really? I think I must have really boring friends and family then :o/

At last it's good to see you guys using Twitter a bit more.

'Awesome' and 'Good job' as you guys say over there!!!

  • lol "keep going till we are friends without benefits"

  • Re the "Xbox skip ad" function, I would love this. However much money is being generated through them showing me that advert I would pay them not to show it to me and not waste my time. Although saying my time is being wasted by being shown adverts while trying to watch a TV show...I may need thicker ice.

  • Actually, Comcast Xfinity has inerative ads. So this is not something new and probably coming down the pike regardless.

  • @rollo: with voice control?

  • Not with voice control. yes, Kinect / Xbox still leading the charge there. With Xfinity a pop up shows up and you click your remote to get more content etc... but you're still interacting with the ad.
