don't say it......
i thought we finally got rid of this silly show
Laura,
Paul isn't sun bathing on the beach with movie stars. He's on a boat! "Take a good hard look at the [battle yacht money] boat". (signup.mythly.com) Maybe T-Pain and Adam Sandburg are present, idk.
Paul,
Good luck on the start-up! Maybe the Bing Fund can help. (See Ping episode 147)
Haha, that picture isn't of me... but it is of a project we're working on in parallel that could become our first social marketing campaign.
Thanks, I was there for that episode
... but holy cow, it's nice to know people do pay attention to what we talk about!
Yikes, gotta do something about that echo. I don't know if it's Skype, the studio setup, or Paul's empty studio apartment.
I love the new Windows Phones, except for the lack of one glaring feature: SD expansion slots. Neither the HTC 8X nor the Lumia 920 have them (even though their "lesser" models, the 8S and 820, do). Samsung's phone is the only one to have the SD slot on the high end.
I have two of the Natural Keyboard Pros. They're still my favorite keyboard of all time -- although the Ergonomic 4000 I'm using now isn't too bad. I have to agree with Paul, though, that even though the features are potentially cool (I'd bet money the space/backspace keys are configurable through Intellitype), having a non-standard keyboard is only going to make it harder to go to another keyboard. (For me, it's not so much using someone else's keyboard, but using one of the handful of machines in my own house. Don't want to have to buy six keyboards and force the rest of my family to use them.)
Heh, someone needs to update the watermark for comments by Microsoft employees -- it's using the old logo. Unless, of course, that's for former Microsoft employees....
I was pleasantly surprised to see Paul on the show via Skype.
And what's this about showing up once or twice more?? How bout doing this EVERY episode?
I'm sure Laura would be down with it.
@Yakko Warner: "Yikes, gotta do something about that echo. I don't know if it's Skype, the studio setup, or Paul's empty studio apartment." Definitely the studio, don't bother me none.
It was a pleasant surprise to see Paul back in this episode. Paul, wish you the best in your endeavor and hope you make the effort to continue showing up. I think both you and Laura do a good job presenting the news with different perspectives and pronunciations.
That giant room isn't a battle yacht, it's a Super Sad Trombone factory.
Nice to see you keeping a really good show alive. Keep the info comming..
Good to see the return of Paul.
The Lumia 920 is currently top of my shopping list and it is good to hear it is getting excellent press. However, they announce this thing way too far in advance without giving availability dates and pricing. Apple have the right model with this, announce it one week and let consumers buy it the next not after 2 months.
Natural Keyboard 4000 ... can't live without it. Yeah it takes some time to get used to it but when you do you are blazing fast and absolutely no problems with wrists.
Ping Pong, I could smell that shirt over the wire ... smart move Laura.
Here I was thinking the echo was an attempt at giving Paul a more commanding voice.
LOL that's it!
