I'm currently rocking a 1020 too, excellent phone. Previously has an HTC HD7, Samsung Omnia 7, Lumia 800, Lumia 820 and Lumia 920. :)

Glad you like the outfit, the head is from Lionhead Fable Anniversary and the body if the Warrior Costume, which I though went quite nicely with the head.

I've left some interesting comments in my code, not stuff I'd repeat here though.

PS I'll send you some snail mail, but from the UK it'll take a while to arrive.

@Comments in code -- I've written some comments like this that made it into a "checked in" code (prior to release, but still was tested).

"If this section errors, then you probably should have taken the time to test it before you decided to check it in - JC"

"If this part fails, it's not JC's fault - JC"

and my favorite that was written by a tech lead on a project I once was on, for a case that was in my queue:

"Uncomment the code below to provide the fix for the case you are working on"  -- basically wrote the fix and commented it out.

I believe what happens in my editor, stays in my editor ;)

I think publishing the source for MS-DOS was a great idea and I hope this is a trend that will continue. Maybe we will sit on the Windows 8 source in about 50 years or so? :)

Just got packed for my flight to Build. Looking forward to it!

Really like the look of the UI on the fruit flavored Office. I want that on my Surface.

Regarding Avatars, at one time we could use our xbox avatar. Does that no longer work? I don't see it as a profile option.

    Regarding Comments:

I work with a guy that likes to slip puns into his comments. He's a funny guy.

At the last place I worked there was a sr developer that would add feedback to other people's code in comments. Sometimes the feedback was positive and sometimes not so positive.

  • Sorry for my ignorance... You guys are great, but I was wondering where Laura went?  It's been boys without Foy's for 10 episodes now.  I went back and watches 192 and nothing was mentioned except for Erb in the comments saying congratulations.  What did I miss?  Aside from Laura.

Keep up the good work boys.

  • It would be nice if you could follow a whole show instead of specifically on each episode, that could then let you know about new episodes as well =)

    @Grandizer, see episode 193, comment by @Duncanma

Nice way of using ASCII art in source =) https://twitter.com/RogueCode/status/449898451245862914

@Mark, the big icon where you are pointing doesn't seem to be in VLC =P

No dodgey stuff in checkins but there is a lot in our older code bases in the comments of code files
