In this inaugural episode of the SharePoint Sideshow show, Paul Stubbs and Donovan Follette, technical evangelists for SharePoint and Office, respectively, introduce developers to the possibilities of building solutions on the SharePoint and Office platform. Here you’ll see some examples of what these solutions might consist of and the way that some have extended and branded their SharePoint sites. From Content and Records Management to Search, Business Intelligence and Social Computing all the workloads in SharePoint are extensible. And the Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, InfoPath, Visio and Project can be extended with custom add-ins using Visual Studio as well. In this episode the developer tools are called out, but further episodes will push into each of these more deeply.
The objective of the SharePoint Sideshow is to help enable developers on the SharePoint and Office platform. Whether it’s developing integrated Office solutions for SharePoint on premises or for SharePoint Online, this show will cover topics and provide interviews with product group members and industry experts to help you go deeper. So join us for the show!

Good start, looking forward for your next shows..
I noticed that Office and SharePoint 2010 was highly promoted in this video, but will there be any talk about the previous version of SharePoint? (MOSS) Just thinking... there are still alot of companies still using MOSS today and have not made the switch just yet.
The first show was a great start and I can't wait to see more.
What's about a roadmap for next shows?
Great start. It would be nice if the screen in the video was readable.
