In this episode, Donovan talks with John Corley, CTO of Spanish Point Technologies. Spanish Point is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner independent software vendor (ISV) and builds their products on SharePoint, Office, and other Microsoft technologies. In this interview, John discusses their decision to use the Research Pane that is available and extensible in the Office clients. Spanish Point uses the Research Pane to surface line-of-business (LOB) data inside Office. John also demonstrates the LookupPoint 2010 product and discusses the end-user productivity gains attained by bringing LOB information into Office.
