How do I download the videos?
- To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”
Why should I download videos from Channel9?
- It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
- You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
- If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!
Which version should I choose?
- If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
- If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
- If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
- If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.
Right click “Save as…”
- High Quality WMV (PC, Xbox, MCE)
- MP3 (Audio only)
- Mid Quality WMV (Lo-band, Mobile)
- High Quality MP4 (iPad, PC)
- MP4 (iPod, Zune HD)

Glad to hear the excitement over the labs! We had fun building them and filming the videos and hope they serve as a good resource for people interested in getting started with Silverlight development or wanting to enhance their existing skills.
Thanks for the series, had been waiting for something like this for a while.
One thing I would love to see in trainings like this is an offline version with the videos in it. I downloaded the offline version and was dissapointed to have to watch the videos online.
Sometimes it's just easier to download a big file and then be able to watch the videos while away from an internet connection.
This is just what I need to get going with silverlight - Thanks guys... I have downloaded the starter kit but Im getting errors straight off the bat in most of the modules. (Even when runing the Completed solutions). Is there any more detail on how to set up these projects to get them working or even how to handle errors that might occur when first running them?

Sorry to hear you're running into problems. I'd recommend a couple of things:
1. The labs using a database all reference SQLEXPRESS as the database name in the web.config files since that's the default name. Make sure you don't have a SqlExpress database with a different name. If you do you'll need to update the connection string in each lab's web.config file. I'm assuming you have SqlExpress installed but double-check that as well.
2. Post any specific errors you may see in the appropriate lab's comments area (not here though). We've had a lot of people get through the labs successfully but if you're not able to run the solutions then there must be something configured a little bit differently on your machine. Seeing the errors will hopefully help narrow down the issue.

I second that.
Was expecting to see videos offline too. I guess I see your dilemma - so many formats to choose from.
I'd suggest a separate offline archive with videos included. Videos can be in the most generic format for Windows player, low to medium quality. I personally never cared of watching developer videos on iPood-o-Zune-o-boxes.
