Participants: Aurora Queen – Your Show Host and TechNet Radio Producer Matt Hester – IT Pro Evangelist Iain McDonald – Iain McDonald has worked for Microsoft for 15 1/2 years; currently he is a director in the Windows Server group.  A native of Australia, he started working for Microsoft’s Australian Subsidiary in 1991. After moving to the US in 1992, he spent 6 years in the Exchange Server development team where he worked on the first three versions of that product. Over his time in Exchange, his responsibilities moved from the connectivity components, to the deployment in Microsoft, to being the Project Manager for the 5.0 & 5.5 releases. At the end of 1998 he moved to the Windows group where he accepted responsibilities as the Project Manager for Windows 2000. In this role he owned day to day operations of the development group, & project schedule. For Windows XP & Windows Server 2003 he was Project Director where his responsibilities included day to day operations of the development group, project schedule & the overall feature set of Windows. In his current role in the Windows Server organization, he owns program management for Windows Server. Recently, he has been doing some stuff for Longhorn Server and releases after that.
