	<description>
The beta release of the 2007 Microsoft Office system provided the Microsoft IT Messaging and Collaboration Services (MACS) team with the opportunity to test improved deployment tools which are designed to simplify the enterprise-wide
 rollout of applications. The team has found that the single build folder, single customization patch, and script hooks resulted in a more efficient deployment solution, helping to ensure that deployment scenarios are fully tested before the release of the
 2007 Microsoft Office system, and to also extend the productivity-increasing benefits of the enhanced Office system applications to users throughout the company. In this interview Michael Murphy speaks with Eric Vigesaa about the team’s experience with delivery
 process, installation and use of new deployment tools.
Participants:

Aurora Queen – Your Show Host and TechNet Radio Producer
Michael Murphy – IT Pro Evangelist
Eric Vigesaa – As the Program Manager for Office system client applications, Eric Vigesaa is responsible for deploying the Office 2007 client applications inside Microsoft and driving product feedback to the development team.&amp;nbsp;
He is currently planning the dogfooding efforts for the next version of Office client. Eric spent 4 years designing features for Microsoft Excel 2003 and 2007 before transitioning into his current internal dogfooding role.
