Erickson Retirement Communities recently deployed a prerelease version of the Windows Vista operating system and the 2007 Microsoft Office system. Chris Avis interviews the CTO; Scott Erickson, IT Director; Jay Romero & Network Administrator; Slava Besser about that process. Hear how they deployed images prior to Vista, how they incorporated Zero Touch Installation using SMS 2003 and how they went from maintaining 14 images to only 1. Upgrading provided Erickson Retirement Communities with built-in security features for mobile users, and significant gains in staff productivity.
Plus we have our monthly segment with Christopher Budd & Kai Axford discussing the November Security Bulletin.
