Dan and Clint stop by the Tech with Tina show to demo the Kinect-Enabled Turrett! The turrett uses skeletal tracking to detect if someone is in your office, it pans the gun toward the intruder and then uses a Phidget relay board to complete a circuit with a Nerf-brand Dart Tag SwarmFire gun.

Cool project!! Can't wait to try it out! Thanks for posting the video!
Spy sappin' my sentry!
Nice! I need the water hose edition for my kids in the summer!
@HumanCompiler: Totally, perfect to sit back, relax, and watch the kids try to get past "security"
I haven't tested a Kinect outdoors, but I've heard it doesn't work great b/c of IR interference, but I'd love to build this for my kid too
@Dan:Ah, yah, I think you're right. Maybe it would work with a fence as the backdrop?
I would like to see the instructions for building the turret. I didn't find anything here on Channel 9 or on codeplex that walked one through the building of the hardware, etc.
Neat stuff
Video needs more Foy!!!
Taking the idea of a vibrating controller to an entirely new level. Incorporate this as part of a FPS maybe with an airsoft gun more pellets. Then when you get shot at in game you really get shot at...
So I work in the office right across from Clint... and happened to walk out my door when he was first working on this project. It was a bloodbath (or should that be nerf bath?)
