I want that book!
Great Show!
Would Also LOVE that book, currently testing Code UI testing in VS2010 Ultimate, really helpfull but a book with inside hints would be get me to do this the right way
Just as well for Brian that Wrox stopped putting the authors mugshots on the covers after the infamous "four head" incident
Oops, I accidentally forgot the book giveaway details that Brian mentioned, I've added the question to the show notes, be the first to win for a free book!
Edit: nevermind, i'm wrong (keeping on looking) codename “Rosario” was for VS2010 not the ALM part
Edit2: Was it "Team System" ?
What's was wrong with the 4 heads?
Final Answer (guess) : codename "Eaglestone"
I did not edit my post because I wanted to be fair in timing, so sorry about spamming.
Rosario it is.
We have a winner!!!!
Email Brian (briankel @ microsoft . com ) with your mailing address and he'll send you a copy of the book!
Darn
Always stay with your first answer as my teacher would say. Congrats Mohammad !
Argh... I knew the anwser but when I first went to the site after hearing in the show about the contest there was no question
I know what you mean
Had the same thing at first
I knew Rosario too but tought it was the Visual Studio codename not the Applcation Lifecycle Managment part of it
Coding4Fun - Dan Waters - Generating Sound Waves with C# Wave Oscillators is actually quite nice. It explains the basics to someone who might have never thought about how sound is generated.
Now he needs to do something on outputting MIDI data (which isn't audio but is used to control audio apps) in Windows Phone 7 because phones make great touchscreen midi controllers.
Congrats, Mohammed!
More information on why we picked Rosario as a code name can be found here: http://blogs.msdn.com/jeffbe/archive/2007/04/25/read-about-rosario.aspx
