Re: Visual Studio Express, you said that you can still use it on windows 7. While this is true of the previous Express 2010 versions, I don't believe that is true of the Dev11 versions as Win8 development can only be done on the Win8 platform itself.
If you are referring to my question, I was asking about VS11 in general. According to the official statement:

I thought Express was intended for Education and Hobbies. Does Microsoft not believe that the students and hobbiest need .NET 4.5 and C++ 2011 spec compiler?
