This week on Channel 9, Brian is back from vacation and joins Dan in the studio to discuss the week's top developer news, including:
- Microsoft PDC - We've now published a number of session titles and remember that every session will be broadcast live as it happens on Oct 28 & 29th
- Channel 9 Live - We'll be doing Channel 9 Live both days, with live interactive sessions and speakers including Bob Muglia, Mark Russinovich, Anders Hejlsberg, Scott Guthrie, and more
- PDC Local Events - There are over 100 local developer events around the world where you can watch PDC sessions.
- David Anson - If your Windows Phone 7 emulator takes a long time on the first network request, it could be because it's not getting an IPv4 address. To fix it, manually set your DNS to OpenDNS.
- Brian Hitney - A recap on an internal email with Eric Lawrence, creator of Fiddler on how to configure Fiddler to work with the Windows Phone 7 Emulator

Will videos of the PDC sessions still be available on demand?
make sure you ask anders why iron* got shafted whereas everybody in MS fell in love with F#. Scripting languages are usefull in many real places where F# isnt
@Stilgar: Yes, absolutely, all videos will be available on demand for streaming almost right away, and available soon therafter. I think last PDC, the downloads were up 1-2 days after the session.

Have you noticed that the MP4-version of the last couple of shows is not rendering properly on the iPhone/iPod? I can see Ping and the other pod/videos properly on the iPhone, and TWC9 used to render properly too, but something has changed. Please fix? Could be something with the encoding of the show?

I finally gave in after seeing all your Windows Phone 7 coverage and knocked up a quick PDF Converter / Viewer. I have posted a screenshot on my blog. Not sure yet where to take this application so comments and ideas are welcome.
