I've been waiting for this capability to be available for quite some time. I've already put it in place, but I can't seem to get "$select" to work.  It appears this will be supported based on the Samples (I'm running the ODataServiceServiceSample) and I've set the "AllowedQueryOperations = All".   I do not get an Error, but all Properties are returned in my JSON.  Projection is a MUST for me.  Hopefully I'm just missing something.

You cannot find it by searching for OData in the Bing search box up above. Not good because the title is all about OData ("ASP.NET Web API Queryable with OData").
