Laptop Revival Day 2 - Reassembling the laptop
After a good rainy night rest I was ready for my next step. The game plan was up to date and seemed very real for implementation.
The following is the plan that I had for the day.
- Put back together the bottom part of the computer using all hardware boards. Throw away the mouse, the keyboard and the top cover
- Connect the display, the battery, external keyboard and mouse and test the computer to make sure it still works
- Research the possibility for building a frame on the internet
- Find a button for the power button extension
I was excited by the fact that I did not have to go to search for custom screws and holding elements. Therefore it took me no time to put the machine back together. Here are the steps for reassembling the computer
1) Place the back cover of the computer on the table 2) Assemble DVD and HDD plastic case http://channel9.msdn.com/wiki/images/upload/Junktoprevival/assembledvdandhddcase

18) Installing the power battery. Make sure the bay is unlocked after the whole disassembling and assembling.
19) Test Great in no time I had the computer up and running and this is where the real part of the project starts. If you disassembled just your laptop display, removed the keyboard and the top cover of the computer part of the laptop you are in a great shape and I just saved you 2 days of work.
Time to wrap Day 2 of the project.
