Publish to GuidanceLibrary.com

* Author item in Guidance Explorer as XML/HTML or in Wiki
* If authored in GE, then copy item content into Wiki page using HTML->Wiki converter
* Item Status = Beta
* Community (including GE team) reviews content and adds comments
* Based on comments and corrections GE team changes Item Status to Community Release


Publish a Library for Guidance Explorer Client

* Author item in Guidance Explorer as XML/HTML or in Wiki
* If authored on Wiki, copy from HTML wiki page to Guidance Explorer editor
* Export Library to GuidanceLibrary.com location. (Right-click on library in Guidance Explorer and select Export Library)
* If you have permissions, existing library is overwritten by new library
* All Guidance Explorer clients pointing to this library get the updated content on next start

Publish a Library for Online Client

* Author item in Guidance Explorer as XML/HTML or in Wiki
* If authored on Wiki, copy from HTML wiki page to Guidance Explorer editor
* Export Library to GuidanceLibrary.com location. (Right-click on library in Guidance Explorer and select Export Library)
* If you have permissions, existing library is overwritten by new library
* All online clients pointing to this library get the updated content on next start

Publish a Library for Visual Studio Client

* Author item in Guidance Explorer as XML/HTML or in Wiki
* If authored on Wiki, copy from HTML wiki page to Guidance Explorer editor
* Export Library to GuidanceLibrary.com location. (Right-click on library in Guidance Explorer and select Export Library)
* If you have permissions, existing library is overwritten by new library
* All Visual Studio clients pointing to this library get the updated content on next start
* Visual Studio clients by default will filter to include only content relevant to current project – based on technology
* User can remove filter to broaden the viewable content set


Publish to MSDN Guidance Library

* GuidanceLibrary.com items with Status = Community Release can be chosen for the MSDN guidance library
* Once chosen the item goes through edit and test - any modifications are made directly on GuidanceLibrary.com item
* Once edit and test complete Item Status is changed to Release and item content is moved to MSDN wiki
