IE-based Browsers

The following browsers add additional functionality to the IE engine.

Mozilla-based Browsers

The following browsers are based on the Mozilla browser

* FirefoxBrowser - Lightweight, tabbed browsing, popup-blocking, cookie management. Lots of free enhancements. Chopped-down version of MozillaBrowser. Had security holes but not an issue with the latest version
* DilloBrowser - Chopped-down, very small version of MozillaBrowser.
* EpiphanyBrowser - Chopped-down version of MozillaBrowser, smaller than GaleonBrowser.
* GaleonBrowser - Chopped-down version of MozillaBrowser.
* MozillaBrowser - Tabbing, excellent cookie and popup management. Excellent JavaScript support. Basis for NetscapeNavigatorBrowser from 6.0 onwards.
* NetscapeNavigatorBrowser - Less than version 6.0 sucks, is slow, buggy and highly non-standard.

* Amaya Browser - W3 organisation's testbed, highly standards-compliant.
* Dr Web Spider Browser
* KonquerorBrowser - Fast, flexible, highly configurable, supports many useful protocols, well integrated with file management.
* Links Browser - Tables-capable text-mode browser.
* LynxBrowser - Text-mode browser, also useful as a command-line tool
* Mosaic Browser - The original, from which both InternetExplorer and the original NetscapeNavigatorBrowser grew.

* OperaBrowser - Very fast, very standards compliant . MDI browsing (including tabbed browsing), very configurable, small download (about 3MB), multi-platform, includes mail client, news client, rss client and IRC chat client too. Excellent popup management, excellent security. Shareware, with a toolbar-ad unless you pay.
* SafariBrowser - Standard browser on OS X, close relative of KonquerorBrowser.
* W3m Browser - Textmode browser.
