Modeling Tools Wishlist

Visual Studio 2005 has some new modeling tools which represent a great start but you could always ask for more. Put your wishes here and let's see what we can do about them.

* SupportEnterpriseServicesInTheAppDesigner
* SupportGatInTheApplicationDesigner
* I wish for UML support or modeling tools that allow me to do what I do with UML during the architectural business cycle, analysis, and design. Steve Cook asked me what parts of UML I would like to see supported, so I responded here: http://realworldsa.dotnetdevelopersjournal.com/umltoolsfromms.htm
* The ability to create a class model for a solution (or Team System Project), instead of for an individual VS project. It's often valuable to see class diagrams that span assemblies. Use some visual shape to indicate assembly boundaries, so you could move classes from assembly to assembly by dragging and dropping to a different area in the diagram. When you whiteboard a solution, you don't necessarily want to think about assembly decomposition yet. Why limit yourself in doing this electronically? (dv)
* BI Documenter is a third party SQL Documentation Tool that supports diagramming of SQL databases, Analysis Services databases and Integration Services projects. It is a good alternative to the modelling in Business Intelligence Studio.
* Some way of bringing stuff in from Rational would be good, or maybe just some kind of UML generalised import of some sort?
