The basic premise of this section is to provide a place for developers to congregate and help each other out in ways that maybe the forums do not allow. It is still undecided as to what licenses should apply here, for now feel free to use whichever licensing method you feel most comfortable with, but remember to make it known up front which one you are using.

OpenProjects Listing

If you have a project you wish to start or are already working on feel free to post it here if you want to make it a community project or if you are just looking for some help. Please format your requests to "Name of Project - Short Description".
* Channel9WebChat - An attempt to create a functional web based chat for Channel9.
* Auditory Synthetic Vision Project. An open source project aiming to create an auditory form of sight for the blind. Led by Will Pearson (MVP nominee), Jerry Weichbrodt and Travis Roth. There's a list on Freelists.org for the group (ASVS), and any and all are welcome to bring whatever they feel they can to this exciting project.

If you are looking for a project to work on, but are feeling shy or perhaps there aren't any projects you wish to work on at this time just post your name/username and some form of contact info here and if you wish hard enough on stars and stuff someone might contact you. =)

Project Ideas

Got an idea for a project but don't know where to start? Make a topic here and let other developers step in and help out. Use the same formatting as in the OpenProjects Listing section. Make a wiki link followed by a short description, then edit the new wiki page and a basic explanation of the project you wish to undertake as well as any questions you may have.
