How about sql completition in query analyzer (and whidbey)?
Ok, I'll bootstrap this by making some links. What's your favorite new feature in Yukon? Some of mine are, in no particular order:
*ServiceBroker
*QueryNotifications
*CommonTableExpressions
*XQuery
*SqlClrIntegration - this totally rocks.
Date and Time instead of datetime
AMEN! I know it varies for different people, but for me about 90% of the time all I care about is the date.
My main gripes in the GUI's for SQL Server 2000 are:
1. The stored procedure editor is modal
ktegels: no, QA sort of goes away with Yukon
2. No splitter in Query Analyzer to let me view two different parts of a script at the same time
ktegels: no, QA sort of goes away with Yukon. That would be good feature to have in the next editor, though.
3. In Query Analyzer I'd like to have multiple copies of the object browser open, one viewing tables and one viewing stored procedures for examples
ktegels: That will be kind-of fixed since you'll be using the studio shell and should have the Server Explorer feature. F8 in QA is my friend.
4. In Query Analyzer I'd like to be able to script something to the cursor position without having to script it to the clipboard and then pasting it
ktegels: Interesting thought, no nothing like that I've seen so far.
Have any of these been fixed in Yukon?

What about an equivalent to Oracle's RAC or grid computing? I would LOVE to be able to send an update request to a DB cluster in SQL Server.
